Sony DIR1000M

ID-1 Digital Instrumentation Recorder

Recording and reproducing at 2, 4, 8, and 16 Megabytes/sec, the DIR-1000M ID-1 Digital Instrumentation Recorder will meet all your data storage needs. This 19mm helical scan digital tape recorder conforms to the ANSI X3.175-1990 ID-1 standard. The ID-1 format utilizes azimuth recording techniques, which minimizes the effects of mis-tracking and insures greater cross-play among all ID-1 type units.
