The Quantum SDLT 600 boasts 600GB of compressed capacity and a blazing compressed transfer rate of 72MB/sec. It's the first tape drive designed to take full advantage of DLTSage, a revolutionary data management solution that delivers a set of proactive tools that reduce management time and improve the reliability of your backup process. The SDLT 600 comes with DLTSage WORM which provides WORM (Write Once, Read Many) archival functionality at no additional cost:

• Superior Manageability - communicates status to the user through DLTSage, Quantum's exclusive drive management system
• DLTSage WORM - the first super drive to utilize standard media for traditional backup and archiving as well as regulatory compliance

With DLTSage WORM, the SDLT 600 is the first super drive that can utilize standard media for both traditional backup and archiving as well as for regulatory compliance.

As with previous generations of DLT® Technology, the SDLT 600 protects your existing DLT investments by reading information stored on Super DLTtapeI® and DLTtape® VS1 cartridges written by VS160.
