Quantum PowerStor L500

For administrators of small- to mid-sized Windows NT/2000®, UNIX® and Linux® environments, the PowerStor™ L500 mini-library is a cost-effective, compact and easy-to-use DLTtape™ solution for automated backup and restore.

PowerStor L500 uniquely supports up to three DLT7000 or DLT8000 drives for blazing backup performance of up to 129 gigabytes per hour. PowerStor L500 also includes 14 cartridge slots for abundant capacity up to 1.1 terabytes. The L500 is delivered completely tested and certified with the leading backup software packages including Veritas™NetBackup™, Legato® Networker®, and Computer Associates® ARCserve®.

EASY TO INSTALL, EASY TO USE

Ergonomic PowerStor libraries are designed for ease-of-use. Delivered completely assembled and tested, PowerStor libraries are plug-and-play. Once installed, the intuitive PowerStor control panel makes it easy to operate the library as well as access important configuration and status information. Plus, loading and unloading tape cartridges is easy and quick with front door access and a pair of 7-cartridge magazines. And when the lights go out and you go home, PowerStor is accessible from anywhere on the World Wide Web using ATL's WebAdmin software for remote administration. WebAdmin provides library monitoring, event logging and event notification from a Java-enabled browser.

THREE DLT7000 DRIVES FOR FAST BACKUP, FOURTEEN CARTRIDGES FOR ABUNDANT CAPACITY

PowerStor libraries require only seven inches of rack mount space. In this compact form-factor PowerStor uniquely supports up to three DLT4000™ or DLT7000™ drives for blazing native backup performance of up to 54 gigabytes per hour. PowerStor also includes 14 cartridge slots for abundant native capacity of 490 gigabytes.
