Enormous CAPACITY
Plasmon's LTO Series can store up to 100 GB (200GB compressed) of data on a
single cartridge*. Models include 10- and 21-cartridge Autoloaders storing from
1TB to 2TB of data, and 68- and 102-cartridge Libraries storing from 6.8TB to
10.2TB of data*.
Blazing SPEED Using
next-generation LTO-Ultrium1™ tape automation technology, Plasmon LTO tape
cartridges mount in just seconds and data transfer speeds reach up to
648GB/hour*. (LTO-2 to be introduced - July 2003)
Extreme RELIABILITY
Plasmon's LTO Series integrates features to ensure high availability: redundant,
hot-swappable power supplies and drives, and remote management for ease of use.
With both SCSI and Fibre options, an LTO autoloader or Library can connect as a
SCSI library, a Fibre-ready SAN or a network attached archive. Plasmon
world-class robotics support 100% duty cycles with a MSBF of over 3.8 million at
90% confidence.

Plasmon’s LTO tape
automation products help you meet your backup windows with best-in-class
transfer rates and capacities from 100 GB to over 20.4 TB*. LTO-1 tape
technology provides a blazing 15 MB/second native transfer rate per installed
tape drive for up to 648 GB/hour in Plasmon’s V-Series libraries.
