consistently delivered three generations of AIT tape drives, each providing a
new standard for price and value performance. Plasmon’s AIT automation products
are available with AIT-2 or AIT-3 tape drives to meet your specific storage
requirements.

Today, more and more data is moving into the "mission-critical"
classification. Email, databases, and file system data make up the short list of
data which is considered mission critical and require the highest levels of
protection and management. These same data sources are also growing rapidly
making it important to choose a secondary storage solution that is affordable

Automation

Plasmon’s AIT automation products offer capacities from 50 GB to 7.8 TB* and
from one to four AIT tape drives (AIT-2 or AIT-3). With 4 AIT-3 tape drives, you
will regularly see transfer rates of up to 172.8 Gigabytes* per hour to your
Plasmon tape library. Plasmon automation products offer a removable tape pack
designed to facilitate on-site and off-site media rotations. Rackmount kits and
a barcode reader simplify the physical mounting and media management typically
seen in larger data centers. Plasmon’s AIT tape solutions are definitely worth
