 Overview
Improved performance, combined with the flexibility and compatibility offered, make the IBM 7210 Model 025 an excellent solution for DVD-RAM and CD-ROM read and write requirements. The 4.7 GB capacity of DVD-RAM allows storage of more data than conventional CD-RW or CD-recordable media. Fast performance allows quicker access to information, while downward compatibility provides continued access to information on current CD-ROM disks.

PCI SE/Ultra SCSI Adapter (#6206)
This device is also supported on the Integrated Ultra2 SCSI port on the 7044-170, 7044-270 and the pSeries640 (7026-B80). We do not support DVD-ROM on the internal drive on RS/6000 servers.
