Designed for 19-inch racks, it packs the most drives into the least space-up to five full-height DLT 80 drives for up to 400 GB storage per array. Upgradeable to over a terabyte capacity when Ultrium and SuperDLT drives are available

Five high-performance tape drives can be configured independently or daisy-chained together.
Holds up to five full-height, high-performance tape drives in only 7 inches of rack space.
Modular design allows expansion from one to five tape drives as your capacity requirements grow.
With five Ultrium 230 drives, you can store 500 GB native (1 TB compressed) per array.
With 5 Ultrium 230 drives on 5 independent SCSI buses, the Tape Array can back up 540 GB/hour.
Supports software tape RAID on leading backup applications for extra data integrity and performance.
Make multiple copies simultaneously and remove tapes for storage offsite with software RAID.
Fits in standard 19" racks from HP, Apex, and Rittal. Fully redundant, hot-swappable components enable easy in-rack servicing with no downtime.
