The 3U Rackmount Tape Drive
Kit (formerly the 3U Rackmount Enclosure) is an external, rackmount,
ultra-dense tape enclosure that:
- Provides a backup and
archiving solution for HP ProLiant
and AlphaServers in a rackmount direct attach environment
- Provides customers with
low-cost solution for consolidating and managing their tape drives in an
ultra-dense rackmount space
- Provides Ease-of-Use
features which allow for easier access and management of
HP tape drives

hour in a 5U rackmount space.

The 5U Rackmount Kit is an
HP StorageWorks tape drive solution
that allows the customer to consolidate up to four internal LTO (Ultrium),
SDLT, and/or DLT 40/80 drives in one enclosure. The 5U Rackmount Kit is an
ideal solution for customers looking to consolidate distributed tape-based
backup solutions into a small rack-mounted space. The 5U Rackmount Kit uses
standard internal HP LTO, SDLT, and/or
DLT drives and is qualified for use with HP
ProLiant and Alpha servers. |
