Breece Hill Technology's B1 DLT1 desktop tape drive delivers outstanding capacity and solid performance at a great price. In this stand-alone, attended desktop unit, you can back up 80 GB of data on each cartridge, and transfer 21.6 GB per hour with compression.* This fits within most companies' available backup windows.

The plug-and-play installation is simple since the B1 is compatible with most any popular desktop computer system. And you won't need to purchase additional software.

Reliability is key. Life tests indicated greater than 200,000 hours at 100% duty cycle mean time between failure. And Breece Hill's standard 3 year warranty gives users additional peace of mind.

The B1 is backward read compatible with Quantum's DLT 4000, which makes the B1 an easy upgrade for sites already using digital linear tape technology and DLT 4000 media.
