DX3000
The DX3000 Virtual Tape Library brings
functionality normally reserved for enterprise-class data centers to a broad
range of new applications. Right sized for the small business or
department, the DX3000 offers a choice of interface, optional compression
and outstanding scalability. High-reliability features and secure remote
management make it ideal for a remote or branch office environment.

| The DX3000 Virtual Tape
Library provides features such as hot-swappable drives to reduce disruption
to operations, ensuring enterprise-class availability and serviceability. It
provides numerous configuration choices and flexibility, including iSCSI and
FC connectivity options. In addition, the DX3000 features Optyon 2:1
hardware-based data compression. And like all DX-series solutions, the
DX3000 is specifically tuned for maximum performance in mid-range backup,
recovery and archive environments. |

The DX3000 includes a Guardian One-year On-site standard warranty. The
warranty can be extended to three years at an affordable price. Additional
service contracts upgrading response levels to 5x9x4 and 7x24x4 are also
available. Professional Installation and Integration services can be
purchased through Quantum. Please check with a Quantum representative for
availability in your region.
 The
DX3000 is supported by StorageCare™ Guardian. StorageCare™ Guardian enables
Quantum to proactively monitor the health of Quantum systems over the
internet and uses intelligent diagnostics data to remotely service the
equipment if issues arise. StorageCare™ Guardian offers highly reliable
backups and faster problem resolution at no extra cost. Guardian is easy to
install and can be downloaded online.
* Guardian One-year On-site: With
StorageCare™ Guardian installed, 5x9 next day on-site target response for
the chassis, raid controllers and Optyon adapters; and Rapid Exchange for
the power supplies, fans and disk drives. DPM5500 software warranty is
one-year 5x9 telephone support. Warranty support will be commercially
reasonable effort if StorageCare™ Guardian is not installed. |
