SnapServer NAS Replication
Protect your data across the hall - - or across
the globe. The Overland SnapServer NAS replication options are high-performance
network-optimized software solutions for distributing, protecting, and reporting
on business-critical information located throughout distributed IT
infrastructures. IT administrators can easily manage and control the movement of
files between local and remote SnapServer NAS systems and Windows, Mac OS,
Linux, and Solaris application servers from anywhere on the network. With
security features including encryption, companies can transmit sensitive data
across inexpensive Internet connections instead of expensive private networks –
saving significant IT costs while offering maximum data protection without
impacting users and applications.

Overland Storage provide high-performance network-optimized solutions for
distributing, protecting, and reporting on business-critical information
throughout distributed enterprises. Whether data is located across the hall or
across the globe, users can easily control the movement of files between local
and remote SnapServer NAS systems and Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and Solaris
application servers from anywhere on the network. With integrated strong
security, companies can transmit sensitive data across inexpensive Internet
connections instead of expensive private networks. Flexible scheduling as often
as "up-to-the minute", encryption, variable bandwidth throttling and compression
offer maximum data protection without impacting users and applications.
Customer Needs
Easy control of the movement of files between
servers; moving data from many remote offices to a central server or
distributing data from a central server to remote offices; providing centralized
backup; a comprehensive, yet easy-to-use, solution for managing and protecting
remote office data.
Benefits
Cost-effective, convenient way to ensure that
remote office data is protected; quick recovery in case of disaster; efficient
data replication and management between SnapServer NAS system, Windows, MacOS,
