Nexsan's
evolutionary AutoMAID (Automatic Massive Array of Idle Disks) energy saving
technology transparently places disk drives into an idle state to vastly reduce
power and cooling costs. AutoMAID delivers the cost-effective benefits of MAID
2.0 without the limitations of slow access times and special host software.
AutoMAID is granular to an
individual drive or RAID set and offers multiple levels of energy savings.
AutoMAID is user selectable enabling users to determine the right level of
response time performance to energy savings. AutoMAID is the first MAID 2.0
architecture that supports VTL, full file format D2D and standard high
performance RAID implementations.

SG Support Services
Support Services Overview
The Nexsan DeDupe SG ships with
NEXSAN On-Guard Support Services. On-Guard Support Services covers the entire
Nexsan DeDupe SG solution including all Nexsan supplied components and systems.
On-Guard service levels include next business day or 24 x 7 x 4hr. Both service
levels can include onsite spares for an additional charge and can be purchased
in one year increments. Please contact your local Nexsan representative to
determine which service levels are available for your area.
Next Business Day Onsite:
Next Business Day support
provides Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM (your local time excluding
holidays) on-site service with “Next Business Day” response. Replacement parts
are shipped via overnight service and, if requested, a service representative
will be onsite between 8:00AM - 5:00PM the following business day. Software
related issues are generally managed remotely from our support center.
24 x 7 x 4hr Onsite:
Gain the fastest and most
comprehensive level of support, which delivers 24x7 with 4 hour response
same-day. Replacement parts are hand delivered with a service representative
that will be onsite within 4 hours, if requested. Software related issues are
generally managed remotely from our support center.

staffed in providing multiple regional Support centers in North America, United
Kingdom and Central Europe. All of our regional support centers staff Senior

Three Years Advance
Replacement Warranty:
Nexsan Technologies storage systems are warranted for three full years from the
date of shipment. Upon verification of failure, replacement equipment will be
shipped out to our customers. Return material authorizations will accompany all
equipment shipped and can be issued either by our phone, fax, or email. (drive
warranties vary and may exceed three years, warranties are non-transferable
without prior consent from Nexsan)
On Location Pre-Exchange
Program:
An industry first program for maximum protection of critical storage devices,
this program provides customers with an on location unit that features fully
redundant fail-over hardware including the chassis for a nominal annual charge.
This program enables our customers to have in their rack chassis a fully
implemented system. Along with our 24-hour free phone support, customers can now
be assured of rapid resolution to any problem. Defective components can then be
advance replaced for constant availability.
On Site Warranty:
Nexsan offers World Wide On-Site support seven days a week, twenty-four hours a
day.

Nexsan DeDupe SG –
Configuration and Management
The Nexsan DeDupe SG management system is simple
to learn and use and offers a single-pane-of-glass view into your system. The
Nexsan DeDupe SG management system enables administration and monitoring of all
deduplication processes and services for 100s TBs of logical data capacity.
Nexsan DeDupe SG systems can be accessed across any LAN, MAN or WAN. The user
interface is simple, automated and intuitive minimizing the time it takes to
perform administrative tasks.
The Nexsan DeDupe management system consists of
the Nexsan DeDupe Management services that can be installed on any Windows or
UNIX platform providing easy online access to all Nexsan DeDupe SG systems
including remote systems. From a central interface, administrators can manage
all Nexsan DeDupe SG functions including Nexsan DeDupe SG NAS configurations,
system monitoring, replication, deduplication and recovery services.
