The 2Gb SANbloc RAID can be scaled in multiple
dimensions, enabling flexible configuration of capacity, performance and
functionality, to match and grow with virtually any application whether it be
throughput intensive like video and prepress or transaction hungry like
databases and OLTP. Delivering cost-effective storage to Windows NT/2000 and
UNIX environments. The 2Gb SANbloc RAID is designed for maximum availability,
with redundant, hot-swappable RAID controllers with dual host ports, power
supplies, power connections, advanced cooling modules, port bypass circuitry and
environmental monitoring, and battery-protected mirrored write cache.
To ensure full compatibility
and support, Adaptec drives are required in all Adaptec external storage JBOD
and RAID enclosures.
