SMO-F561/S provides up to 9.1 GB capacity in an ISO compliant drive design.
Backward compatibility is a key feature in protecting your investment in
existing data archives, and the 561 series meets this requirement. These
drives not only read and write the latest 9.1 GB and 8.6 GB media, but are
compatible with all previous generations of 5.25-inch MO media. The 561 can
read and write to 5.2/4.8/4.1 GB media and 2.6/2.3 GB media, and read
1.3/1.2 GB and 650/600 MB media.
Improved data throughput
Along with increased capacity, the 561 series drives also deliver higher
data transfer rates. With a sustained data transfer rate of up to 6 MB/s,
the 561 series is up to 20% faster than previous drive generations. A fast
25 ms access time, a large 8 MB data buffer, and a fast industry standard
SCSI-2 interface also help speed access to your critical data.
Compact size, low power
The SMO-F561/S MO drives fits a standard 5.25-inch half height enclosure,
simplifying installation into most desktop and server systems. In addition,
low power requirements, less than 15 W, reduces the demand on your system
power supply.

right away. With supplied software drivers for Windowsr and MacOSr systems
and User manual, installation can be quick and easy. The industry standard
SCSI-2 interface is compatible with a number of SCSI host adapters, reducing
