M-Series 5.25" MO Automation
Plasmon's M-Series Libraries are an ideal
storage solution for data-intensive applications requiring nearline access
speeds. MO Drives are multi-functional, providing the benefits of both
rewritable and CCW WORM (Write One Read Many) technology. They are a great
alternative for multi-user, 24x7 network environments. These libraries offer
faster access speeds and are considerably less expensive than alternative
solutions. MO technology is best suited for fast access and long-term archival
for random-access data patterns, especially if a WORM solution is needed.
With an archival media life of a
minimum of 50 years, Magneto-Optical WORM (Write Once Read Many) media is the
media of choice for data archival applications.
