Deploying the Snap Server 14000 from Snap
Appliance is fast and easy, with no network or application
downtime. Yet it delivers the enterprise security, management,
and performance that today’s heterogenous environments demand.
Most importantly, its low acquisition cost combined with high
availability and minimal administration deliver the lowest TCO
in its class.
Availability
RAID 5, hot-swappable disk drives, redundant power supplies,
cooling fans, Gigabit Ethernet ports, and UPS support maximize
system and data availability. The included Server-to-Server
(S2S) Synchronization software offers an easy, automated data
replication solution that allows even greater availability.
Manageability
Support for Microsoft Active Directory Service (ADS), UNIX
Network Information Service (NIS), Simple Network Management
Protocol (SNMP), quotas and environmental monitoring tools
ensure your Snap Server 14000 will be easy to manage from
anywhere on the network with the browser-based user interface.
Interoperability
The Snap Server 14000 provides cross-platform support for mixed
Windows, UNIX/Linux and Macintosh environments — plus HTTP and
