The Quantum DX-Series is an open system disk-based virtual tape library that offers hardware based compression, emulating a tape library and seamlessly integrate into existing backup architectures without any changes to existing processes.  The DX-Series complements tape libraries by allowing them to focus on archive operations for disaster recovery and regulatory compliance.  Backup, restore, and archiving operations can now occur more quickly and more often – resulting in greater backup confidence and overall data protection.
