Recertified Media

Media that is tested on original manufacturers' tape drives and test equipment using similar methods that were employed in the 100% certification of newly manufactured media.

What is Degaussing?
Degaussing is the process of "ERASING" the recorded signal on most magnetic data storage by passing through a strong magnetic
field, which restores them back to their original or "blank" condition. This process recycles your surplus tape as a new data storage.

Tape should be degaussed for many reasons.

• Increase data security. Eliminate viruses and/or corrupt data. Conform to privacy and media storage laws.

• Restore many types of storage media back to its original condition. Improve recording performance.

• Save money by recycling or reusing old storage.
