 DiamondMax® 36 Ultra DMA 66:

The DiamondMax® family is Maxtor's mainstream line of 3.5-inch hard disk drives, featuring Maxtor's enhanced ShockBlock mechanics as well as Maxtor's DualWave multi-processor controller for enhanced performance. The DiamondMax® 36 has capacities up to 36.5 GB. These drives are designed for desktop systems which demand maximum storage capacity and performance.

Maxtor recommends that you use the Auto-Detect feature in the BIOS for hard drive configuration. If your BIOS does not utilize Auto-Detect, Maxtor recommends that you:

bulletManually enter the Maximum Cylinder value for the hard drive if greater than 8.4 GB.
bulletManually enter the Actual Cylinder value for the hard drive if less than 8.4 GB.
