How does FMA work?

A non-intrusive addition to Microsoft file servers, FMA integrates into the file system using MS Management Console. As a plug-in to MS Explorer, migration, release and recall processes are transparent to users and applications. Users are provided with continuous access to files as if they still reside on the file servers. FMA is simple to install and configure, requiring no external database
